The Palmer Lake Planning Commission had not made its decision as of press time Wednesday night as it deliberated whether to recommend Buc-ee's to the Town Council.

At issue are three items requested by developers. The first was the annexation itself, which would connect the strip of land by the interstate marked for the mega-travel center to Palmer Lake via a thin "flagpole" of land.

The second was a planned development, which documents the zoning needed for the store.

The third is a sketch plan, which describes in more detail the specifications of the development.
