YOUNGSTOWN Two scouts of Troop 55 in Youngstown have completed their Eagle Scout projects.

One of the scouts, Abigail Broz, completed her project of an outdoor, interactive classroom for students at Campbell Middle School.

A dedication ceremony to honor the completion was held at Campbell Middle School on Wednesday.

Broz herself graduated from Campbell as valedictorian of her class.

The space that Broz curated is an interactive botanical garden, featuring compost bins, raised flower beds, a butterfly garden and much more.

Broz told 21 News that the idea was sparked by the school, which told her that they were looking to create a program for the after-school kids, aiming to get them more immersed in nature.
