( 25News Now ) - After winning both 3A Regional and Sectional Team titles last season, Washington golf brings back five of their top six players from last season, including senior Bradley commit Gavin Schreurs.

Schreurs opened his senior season by tying for 3rd place individually at the MIA Memorial and helping push the Panthers to their first team title of the season.

The Dunlap girls won the Redbird Classic team title at Metamora Fields, led by medalist Sydney Hunt’s 72, and Campbell Vrabel’s 77. Morton finished as runner-up for the team title, led by Payton Hays’ 78.

Also tonight, the Putt Club in East Peoria hosted the Peoria Friendship House Golf Outing with Bradley Basketball head coach Brian Wardle and various Braves players, as well as our own Jim Mattson, all playing to help
