Husband finds wife stabbed to death in South Bay home

NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A woman was stabbed to death Wednesday in National City, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 2:12 p.m. at a home in the 400 block of Division Street, according to the National City Police Department.

Authorities say the woman's husband came home and found her in the kitchen with multiple stab wounds.

When officers arrived, the suspect jumped out of a second story window, police said.

After a brief chase, the suspect was taken into custody and is expected to face murder charges.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
