1. Newport Harbor (0-0): The reigning CIF-SS Open Division champion looks deep with the expected return of Connor Ohl and Kai Kaneko. The Stanford commits played for the U.S. national team over the summer. Left-handed attacker Mason Netzer, who is committed to Cal, is another senior to watch.

2. JSerra (0-0): Harvard committed goalie Jonas Ransford and attacker Connor Colman — both seniors — lead a team stocked with younger players. Coach Brett Ormsby is high on his sophomore class, which includes a few transfers, and freshman Chris Koo.
