We’re keeping a close eye on Erin as it continues spinning off the East Coast of the U.S.

While Erin’s eye will remain hundreds of miles offshore the New England coast through the end of the week, the storm will still be close enough to impact our area with gusty winds, high surf and dangerous rip currents.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Cape and the Islands this evening through Friday afternoon. We’re expecting wind gusts up to 50 mph at times! Even in Boston, winds will be gusty, likely
