Rutgers has filled its final scholarship slot with a longtime target who previously signed with another Big Ten school.
Dorian Jones, a four-star guard who picked Ohio State over the Scarlet Knights last summer, is joining head coach Steve Pikiell’s program for the 2025-26 season after all. Jones, ranked 87th nationally in the 2025 class on the 247Sports Composite , announced the news Wednesday.
Jones is now the seventh member of Rutgers’ incoming freshman class, joining fellow United States products Chris Nwuli, Lino Mark, Kaden Powers and Gevonte Ware and European prospects Harun Zrno and Denis Badalau.
The group now ranks 30th nationally in the 2025 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
