The SNP spent more than £100,000 on a luxury motorhome that was seized by the police two years ago.

But the vehicle has now lost over half its value due to depreciation.

The motorhome was taken by police during the Operation Branchform probe into SNP finances when Nicola Sturgeon was leader and her estranged husband Peter Murrell was party chief executive.

The latest SNP accounts give details of the vehicle’s purchase and current value.

“Included within the carrying amount of Motor Vehicles is a motorhome with a cost of £100,790 and a carrying amount of £41,284 as at 31 December 2024.
