Five types of flag not able to be flown in the UK amid the ongoing St George's flag debate have been revealed. Under Labour Party government guidelines, all flags being flown must meet five criteria.
It means any flags not maintained in a good condition that impairs the overall visual appearance of the site, not kept in a safe condition, and without permission of landowners, are banned.
Others are flags which obscure, or hinder the interpretation of official road, rail, waterway or aircraft signs, or otherwise make hazardous the use of these types of transport.
