The Big 12 Conference is going international.
With 16 members, some as far west as Arizona, Utah and Colorado and others as far east as Florida, West Virginia and Ohio, the conference’s footprint already spans well over 2,000 miles from end to end.
This year the league is taking its game to international locations.
It starts when the 109th edition of Farmegeddon, pitting Iowa State vs. Kansas State. Those old rivals travel to Dublin, Ireland, where they will kick off the 2025 football season at Aviva Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 23 at noon on ESPN. TCU will participate in the 2026 edition of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic when it travels to Dublin for the season opener next year against North Carolina at Aviva Stadium.
