Two fully renovated playgrounds and a sports field were delivered to the community of Sarría as part of Operation Caracas Smiles, which took place in the La Candelaria parish of the Libertador municipality.

Mayor Carmen Meléndez reopened Simón and Hugo parks, as well as the sports facility, this Wednesday, all within the Sarría Rebelde community circuit.

"This project included a party area, renovation of common areas, as well as restrooms, walkways, and everything necessary to bring the spaces back to what we see them today," he noted.

He added that 410 families benefit from the infrastructure for healthy recreation.

During the work, the facades were also painted and the spaces in six blocks were refurbished.
