Labubu dolls have become the trendy fashion accessory of choice among celebrities and others; and now, like many collectibles, fake versions and knockoffs are popping up on the internet, known as Lafufus.

Labubu dolls are a sharp-toothed, monster-like toy that have surged in popularity through TikTok. Pop Mart vending stations sell them at malls in the U.S., including three locations in Michigan.

Some of the authentic dolls list for as much as $199 on Pop Mart's website, while others are priced at about $20. Other Labubu-themed products include key chains, blind boxes, ear muffs, earrings and more.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has even put out warnings about some fake Labubus because they can be choking hazards for young children.
