According to South Bruce OPP, a threatening phone call was made to a Walkerton financial institution at around 1:28 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. Article content

Members of the OPP attended the financial institution and confirmed the well-being of employees inside. An investigation revealed that an individual contacted the location and is alleged to have made threats to harm employees on site.

Police then charged a 42-year-old Arran-Elderslie resident with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
