A dog owner who was convinced their pup was mostly beagle was left stunned after receiving surprising DNA test results.
The Reddit user, posting under the name u/Fancy-Lifeguard-7170, shared the findings in the subreddit r/DoggyDNA. "I was dead-sure Samsun had beagle in him and was completely wrong," the poster wrote.
The results revealed an unexpected mix: 26.3 percent dachshund, 24.6 percent American pit bull terrier, 22.3 percent Supermutt, 20.9 percent Border collie, and 5.9 percent Catahoula leopard dog.
