The family of a woman who was killed in front of relatives during a Bridgeport hoodie sale turned deadly has launched a fundraiser as they call for justice.

Gabriela Ochoa, 31, was fatally shot during a hoodie sale around 8:40 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of West 27th Street , according to Chicago police.

“We will not rest until justice is served for our beautiful baby girl,” Andreina Ochoa, the organizer of the fundraiser , wrote. “Gaby was a beacon of light in our lives. Bringing warmth, laughter, and unwavering love to everyone she met.”

For safety, Ochoa, a concealed carry license holder, insisted on accompanying her teenage nephew who was selling two hoodies, police and a witness said.
