Previously, Ben Affleck played him in the DCEU , with Michael Keaton returning in The Flash , and once set to take over from Affleck, which has since been scrapped in favor of a reboot.

Batman's The Brave and the Bold movie , which has yet to receive a date, will presumably debut the new Batman of James Gunn's DC Universe . Until then, multiple films related to the Dark Knight will be released. While Batman's next movie is not a theatrical project , the animated film is one of the hero's most interesting adaptations in years.
