Appeals Court Issues Mixed Ruling in Trump Fraud Case, Vacates Financial Penalties

The justices of the Appellate Division, First Department say they were unable to reach a majority opinion across three decisions, but issued the opinion in order to pass the case to the New York Court of Appeals. The court vacated disgorgement and sanctions but was not unanimous on the fraud finding.
