Teachers, staff and community members gathered outside of Woodland Hills High School on Thursday morning to welcome students back from summer break.
"This journey is going to be great," said Dr. Shelly Manns, co-principal at the high school. Manns is the principal for junior and senior students, while B.J. Grinage serves as the principal for freshman and sophomore students. Advertisement
"It's great seeing a student at the end of last year and knowing that that maturation process, ... watching how they've grown over the course of the summer is really cool," said Grinage.
