Agricultural society president Spencer Dunsmore said fairgoers will notice some of the new things they encounter this year, including a live animal petting zoo, a legion-organized corn hole tournament, an expanded kid’s zone and a celebration of 50 years of ambassadors on opening night, Aug. 29. Patrons may not notice the subtle tweaks that are done behind the scenes, though, but rest assured they are there.
