WACO, Texas — The Waco Police Department has revealed the cause of death for the woman pulled from at the center of their ongoing questionable death investigation .

Preliminary autopsy results have ruled the death of a 39-year-old Consuelo Bernabe as a drowning, with final autopsy results still pending.

The investigation remains ongoing and police said no foul play is suspected at this time.

Officials say Consuelo Bernabe was found dead inside her minivan Monday, Aug. 21, after the vehicle was pulled out of the Brazos River .
