ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department said a man has been arrested in connection with an arson investigation.

The Asheville Fire Department responded to Park Lake Avenue where a mobile home was engulfed in flames around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday.

Fire investigators determined the fire was “human-made.”

They identified 27-year-old Jacob Shelly Porter as a suspect in the fire.

He was arrested and charged with second-degree arson and burning personal property.
