Those travelling from Edinburgh Waverley Station may face potential cancellations and delays due to a power outage.
Network Rail have sent inspectors to the travel hub on Thursday August 21 due to an issue with the signalling system caused by the loss of power.
This comes as the capital is set for an extremely busy night with AC/DC performing at Murrayfield Stadium and Hibs welcoming Legia Warszawa to Easter Road.
As well as this, the city centre will be full of tourists as they take in the Military Tattoo and the Festival Fringe.
