SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County authorities are looking for a suspect who crashed a stolen vehicle following a pursuit Thursday afternoon.

Bexar County Sheriff's deputies noticed an unoccupied stolen vehicle near near Rye Pond at Homestead Way.

According to BCSO, while deputies were waiting for Texas Towing to arrive an unknown suspect got into the vehicle and drove off leading deputies on a pursuit.

Authorities say during the pursuit the suspect crashed into a guardrail on Highway 90 W. The suspect then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

BCSO is currently looking for the suspect in the wooded area near Growdon Road and Highway 90 W.
