NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said it recommends reopening the swimming area at Governor Notte Park Beach in North Providence because bacteria counts have returned to safe levels.
RIDOH said it monitors bacteria counts in bodies of water through Labor Day.
