A Berks County man was caught with two kilos of fentanyl worth $500,000 in a massive early morning bust, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025.

Junior Rondon-Ceballo, 31, was arrested after a joint drug investigation between the Berks County Drug Task Force and Reading police led to a search of his Cumru Township home, his body, and vehicle, officials said.

The warrant was executed at 6 a.m. on the 200 block of Pennwyn Place, where detectives seized:

  • Two kilograms of fentanyl
  • Digital scales
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Packaging materials

According to authorities, the seized fentanyl could produce up to 100,000 individual dose packets, making the street value an estimated $500,000.

A photo from the scene shows what appears to be a large-scale drug-packaging setup, including pink baggies, vacuum-sealed bricks of fentanyl, scales, gloves, grinders, sifters, and other tools laid out on a metal table. One box was labeled “DRUG.”

Rondon-Ceballo is facing the following charges:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl.
  • Possession of Fentanyl.
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Berks County Sheriff’s Central Processing Center to be fingerprinted and photographed. He is currently awaiting his preliminary arraignment before a Magisterial District Judge.
