Camillus, N.Y. — One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash in the Town of Camillus Wednesday morning.

A 2025 Chevrolet Trax was traveling east on West Genesee Street at approximately 11:10 a.m. when it crossed the center line and sideswiped a 2014 Toyota Sienna, according to State Police spokesperson Jennifer Jiron.

The vehicle then continued into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a 2020 BMW 330 Series.

Darlene Cushman, 74, of Syracuse, who was driving the Chevrolet Trax, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota Sienna, Gabriel Cortesnieves, 38, of Syracuse, wasn’t hurt.

His passenger, Itchaneria Estradacruz, 38, of Fulton was brought to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
