SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- It was a splash for a cause in Clinton Square Thursday afternoon.
The ALS Association held its 4th annual CEO Soak on August 21.
The fundraiser brought together leaders from healthcare, technology and manufacturing, along with local officials, including Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon.
All of them stepped up for the same cause: to raise awareness and money to fight ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
"A lot of people here have friends, families that have suffered from ALS. We really just want to be here, making a difference for others in the community and making sure they are doing a good thing when they can," said Joseph Viviano, owner of Ascension Wealth Management.
Whether it's one splash or one donation, organizers say every action helps pus
