NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Our "Forgotten Friends" series showcases a dog or cat each week that has spent time at an area shelter, just waiting for someone to notice them and bring them home to love.
This week’s Forgotten Friend is Fenrir, a one-year-old terrier mix that was first brought to the Humane Society in New Braunfels (HSNBA) by a good Samaritan back in October 2024. He had been found as a young puppy with his two littermates at a 7-11 store. He was initially adopted right after his neuter surgery, only spending about 10 days at the shelter. But sadly, that home ended up not being the right fit for him and Fenrir returned to the shelter eight months later. The adopter said he was jumping on their 91-year-old father who lived in the home, so it just wasn't safe.
