A customer at a Midtown Manhattan coffee shop slashed a worker in the neck, leaving the 50-year-old victim hospitalized with critical injuries, police said Thursday.
The bloody fight took place outside Moka & Co. , an organic Yemeni coffee chain on W. 34th St. near Seventh Ave. around 3 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.
Workers had asked suspect Wagner Louis, 32, to leave the store for making a scene and disrupting other customers, but he began arguing with the coffee shop employee, according to police.
The altercation continued outside when Louis whipped out a blade and sliced his victim’s neck.
EMS rushed the coffee shop employee to Bellevue Hospital , where he remained in critical but stable condition Thursday.
Louis ran to an awaiting white Honda Civic and sped off, but responding
