The Carolina Theatre will present a film series in its first Halloween season since reopening.
“There’s no better place to watch history’s most beloved horror movies than in Charlotte’s historic theatre,” Sean Seifert, the Carolina Theatre’s executive director, said. “Just beware: Our theatre has its own off-screen ghost.”
Carolina Theatre reopened earlier this year in March after being vacant for 47 years.
The film series begins on Oct. 3, featuring “Dracula” (1993). It will also show “Frankenstein” (1931) and “The Mummy” (1935) in October before finishing with “Halloween” (1978) on Oct. 31.
Tickets for all showings are available Friday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m.
