Media were not invited to the event, one in a series of such discussions the associate solicitor general has been holding across the province. Hamid told The Recorder and Times later Wednesday his “laser-focused” cabinet position was created a year ago to address an epidemic of auto theft, particularly in communities along 400-series highways.
