KANSAS CITY, Mo. —
A Kansas City man who admitted to illegally trafficking firearms, including one recovered at the 2024 Chiefs Super Bowl parade mass shooting , has been sentenced to federal prison.

He will also serve three years of supervised release after completing his 66-month term.
Manning pleaded guilty in April to conspiring to traffic firearms to prohibited persons.
Prosecutors said he acted as a straw purchaser, buying guns on behalf of people who could not legally own them.
Court records show Manning bought at least 40 firearms from licensed dealers between May 2022 and January 2023 and transferred them to co-conspirators.
