The Box Elder County Attorney's Office has filed charges against Ryan Michael Bate - including two capital offenses — along with a notice of intent to seek the death penalty in Utah’s First District Court in Brigham City, according to the Box Elder County Attorney's Office.
Felony charges include two counts of aggravated murder, four counts of attempted aggravated murder, one count of endangering a police service dog with intent to injure or kill, and three counts of possessing/removing explosive, chemical or incendiary materials; misdemeanor charges include two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon with criminal intent, three counts of assault, one count of unlawful detention, one count of threat of violence and three counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child.
