MICCO, Fla. – Fire crews in Brevard County are evacuating homes because of a brush fire near a Micco neighborhood.

The fire is near Cherish Drive, south of Micco Road and west of U.S. 1.

Brevard County Fire Rescue tells News 6 that eight to 10 homes have been evacuated along that road.

Fire crews are trying to figure out if storms in the area caused the fire.
