Peoria, IL (WBMD) - Temperatures finally let us over Central Illinois, but were do we go from here? We'll tell you in this week's episode of Shootin' The Breeze.

Weather history takes us back to August 21st, 2017 for the last total solar eclipse (before 2024). Our very own Chris Yates got to hang out in the path of totality in Waterloo, IL. Many participated in a "solar-bration" for the event.

After the break we touched on the storms from Monday, August 18th. While the sirens did go off in Tazewell county, there was no tornado. Just some scary looking, or scud clouds. Thankfully, these storms were on the tamer side of the severe weather scale.
