Argentine President Javier Milei, his sister, and several officials close to his administration have been criminally charged with corruption.
The complaint was filed on Wednesday by attorney Gregorio Dalbón in the federal courts of Comodoro Py in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The accusation reveals the existence of an illicit conspiracy to divert public funds through irregular contracts at the National Disability Agency (ANDIS).
The lawyer alleged the existence of "a scheme to collect and pay bribes related to the purchase and supply of medicines, with direct impact on public funds. These acts fall under the crimes of bribery, fraudulent administration, negotiations incompatible with the exercise of public functions, and violations of the Public Ethics Law."
