Strictly Come Dancing has announced its final contestant for the 2025 series after Kristian Nairn was forced to quit the BBC show The One Show: Lewis Cope unveiled as latest Strictly contestant

Actor Lewis Cope has officially been confirmed for this year's Strictly Come Dancing line-up. ‌

The Emmerdale favourite will be stepping in for DJ and actor Kristian Nairn on the BBC One dance competition after he was forced to withdraw due to medical reasons. ‌

Lewis will be joining fellow celebrities including Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, Chris Robshaw and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey on the forthcoming series, set to kick off in September. ‌
