FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A long-standing non-profit in Allen County says it’s facing one of the toughest challenges in its history, putting key community programs at risk.

The Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County have been serving local families for decades, bringing together more than 130 churches and organizations to meet pressing needs across 21Country.

Among its efforts is the Neighborhood Food Network , which supplies food to 21 pantries throughout Allen County.

However, leaders at the non-profit now say the network is in jeopardy.

Executive Director of Associated Churches, Roger Reece, says federal budget cuts and program delays have left the non-profit with a $45,000 deficit in its 2025 budget.
