BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Delta and United Airlines are being sued by passengers who claim they paid extra for so-called window seats.
The lawsuits read that passengers paid extra money to sit next to the window, only to find themselves in a seat next to a wall without a window.
While some airlines flag these as seats without windows during booking, passengers say Delta and United do not, even when charging tens or hundreds of dollars for them.
A passenger arriving in Bismarck from Texas thinks passengers should get what they pay for.
“Anytime you pay for something, you want what you pay for. So, yeah, it definitely would be, ya know, not a good thing,” said passenger Justin Abara.
The lawsuit says people buy window seats for a number of reasons, like fear of flying, or motion sickness,
