WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Rescue crews in Wolfe County saved two elderly women who were stuck in a hot tub on Wednesday night.

The Wolf County Search & Rescue Team reports that the women were relaxing in the hot tub while staying at a remote cabin, but two of them couldn’t get out.

The two women started overheating and became unresponsive.

Rescuers got the women out of the water and helped them cool down.

The women began to recover and were transported to a nearby hospital.

The Wolfe County Search & Rescue team wants to remind people to limit soak times in hot tubs and to make sure you can exit the hot tub before you enter.
