Folknet and Roots of American Music will sponsor the premiere showing of the documentary “Singing for Justice” at 2 p.m. Aug. 24 at Forest Hill Church Presbyterian at 3031 Monticello Blvd. in Cleveland Heights.
The free, hour-long documentary is about Faith Petric, an American folk singer and activist, and comes during a period of change in the U.S. government.
Doors will open at 1:30 p.m., and several singer/songwriters will perform their justice songs after the documentary from 3 to 4:30 p.m.. Refreshments will be provided.
