CAMP SHERMAN, Ore. (KPTV) - A man accused of sexual misconduct while working as a camp counselor in Jefferson County was arrested in Portland on Thursday.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says they received multiple reports of alleged sexual misconduct by a camp counselor at Camp Caldera in Camp Sherman.
Deputies interviewed several victims on August 12, who named the suspect as “Bear,” later identified as 28-year-old Zackary Perry of Portland.
The allegations against Perry include unwanted physical contact, inappropriate comments, and coercive behavior toward victims at the camp, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jefferson County deputies and Portland Police officers arrested Perry at his home in Portland on Thursday.
