A 17-year-old Tyler County high school student has been arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat.

According to a post on the Tyler County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page , Aaron McDonald made threats while attending class at Colmesneil High School .

Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 5 p.m., Tyler County deputies responded to the school regarding a reported threat made by a student. Officers interviewed Colmesneil ISD Superintendent Sharon Tule, who advised deputies that McDonald had allegedly threatened to shoot up the school.
