ANDERSON, Calif. —
The husband of a Northern California woman, who was last seen 15 months ago, was arrested for her death this week, according to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office.
Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain was last seen on May 18, 2024, at the home where she lived with her husband, Tyler McCain, on Olinda Road in Anderson.
Four days later, members of her family reported her as missing.
Then three days after that, on May 25, 2024, Saelee-McCain's vehicle was found off Highway 36 near Beegum Gorge Bridge. The sheriff's office said there was evidence found indicating foul play, but Saelee-McCain was nowhere to be found.
In March of this year, the sheriff's office announced that Saelee-McCain's disappearance was being investigated as a homicide . Around that time, Shasta County deput
