ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH — Belmont College will open a new motorcycle training site this fall in partnership with Motorcycle Ohio.

The program will bring state-certified safety courses to Belmont County, giving local riders easier access to training.

The Basic Rider Skills (BRS) course, offered through Motorcycle Ohio, will be held on the St. Clairsville campus. It is open to both new and experienced riders.

Course Details • Cost: $75 per student • Class size: Up to 12 students • Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, twice a month • Length: 16 hours (4 in the classroom, 12 on the motorcycle) • Requirements: Riders must have a valid two-wheel Temporary Instruction Permit (TIPIC) or M endorsement and must bring proper protective gear. • No prior riding experience is required, but studen
