MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Families are feeling a range of emotions after the man cleared of all charges against him in Young Dolph’s murder is now free to go home.

Community members have been sharing their reaction since the verdict was read Thursday morning.

“I feel like it’s unfair,” Memphian Antonio Young said.

Young was buying cookies at Makeda’s Cookies on Airways Boulevard when he learned of Govan’s not guilty verdict.

Young Dolph was killed outside Makeda’s Cookies in November 2021.

“It’s just hard for us to just relive this over and over again,” Makeda’s Cookies Co-Owner Pamela Hill said. It’ll forever be a part of our lives because he lost his life at Makeda’s, and you know he’s been coming there for over 10 years, so you know we just feel that it’s just hard for us to deal with
