In a court filing on Wednesday, some property owners denied wrongdoing after an energy company accused them of intimidating or threatening agents who were attempting to conduct surveys on their land.

Most of the property owners named in the filing also consented to the use of U.S. Marshals to protect the agents tasked with carrying out the surveys, though one did not. That property owner still agreed to cooperate with the survey process.
