(WTRF) -- Glenn Trudo, 60, is sentenced to three years in prison for the offense to which he pleaded guilty, propose sex by computer.

Circuit Court officials in Loudoun County, Virginia, where the charge originated, tell 7News the judge suspended two years and five months of that sentence, meaning Trudo will serve seven months behind bars.

They noted he is already in custody there.

Trudo was arrested in February and search warrants were executed at his home and workplace.

The Belmont County Sheriff's Department assisted the U.S. Secret Service and the Virginia State Police in the investigation.

Trudo was charged with two counts of soliciting a minor.

Trudo was the EMA Assistant Deputy Director in Belmont County.

He later entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge.
