One of the Menendez brothers ’ fate has been decided.
After Los Angeles County Judge Michael Jesic ruled that Erik Menendez and Lyle Menendez would be eligible for parole during their resentencing in May, the parole board met Aug. 21 to decide if Erik would be released to parole supervision.
However, after a 10-hour hearing, Erik's request was denied, and he'll remain behind bars. He will be able to pursue parole again in three years, according to NBC News .
