The downtown Colorado Springs Urban Living Tour returns Saturday as the apartment leasing climate is experiencing a warming trend.

The Downtown Partnership said more than 750 new leases have been signed in the past 12 months, which was a record for the area.

And there will be more downtown living options on the horizon.

Despite July seeing no apartment permit applications, the first time in four months, year-to-date totals are still higher than last year, according to the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department.

“(Year to date) totals are at 860, 892 if you include new units from a renovation project,” the department shared on social media. “That’s already more than all of 2024 totals (838).”
